I get 6 weeks of PTO a year, that week isn't a big deal. They haven't yet said if they're blocking out the next couple months but I'm cutting it back to a long weekend anyway. I don't have plans, so I'd rather stay on track than get behind for sitting at home. I am taking a week at the end of the summer to take Bryan to the beach somewhere tho. That's non-negotiable. And the rest I'll just use for long weekends and some time off towards the end of the year.

Was gonna take Bryan's spring break week off just for a staycation but now we're acquiring another bank and we got told today that we probably can't take PTO until it's done... ugh

Yep, that was him! We've still not put any kind of official title on ourselves, but we got back in touch over the summer shortly after I stopped seeing the other guy. He and his ex had split up shortly before that too. Timing seems to be working out this time and we're both happy about it. :)

This past June was also 20 years for me.
Had my company Christmas party this past weekend and cute bank guy went with me. He got to meet all my friends and still stuck around. :lol:

I'm up to 5 and a half weeks of PTO. I think I get like 8 or 16 more hours next year. It'll be my 10th year here. But after that I don't get more until I hit 20 years.

The place I work does flu shots every year and last year they did covid boosters too. Really convenient so I don't have to leave work to get them. If they do it Austin this year, I'll probably do both just cuz it's available.

Rotary phones were fun! We had one at home when i was very little and one out at our camp too. My grandma also had one up until they just wouldn't work anymore and she was forced to get a new one.

We got our first family computer when my sister started high school because she wasn't going to be able to use a typewriter for essays and shit for school, so i was 13.
My parents paid extra for one of those programs that worked like a voice-mail for your dial up. So if someone called, they could leave a message. It always froze the computer. They eventually just added a second phone line to the house until cable internet became a thing when I was in high school.

Bryan had his first cross country track meet today. Waiting to see how he's feeling about it. They posted the times already. His school came in 4th, he finished like 80th out of about 100 kids. This is the first sport he's really tried, so not too bad in my opinion.

Saw Aerosmith over the weekend. Steven definitely struggled to keep up on a couple songs. Not sure if it was sound issues or age but he still sounded great. It was a good show.
Today is the first day of school. 7th grade for Bryan and a new school. I don't know when he got so old but I don't like it lol

They're fighting over the TV channels, not the internet and they do this practically every year. They've done it with Fox pretty frequently too. It's not going to affect fantasy. That's a pretty big and unnecessary rabbit hole to dive in. They'll figure out a deal in a couple of weeks. They always do.

It picks the order one hour before the draft starts. And you can also go in at that point to start planning your picks too.

I think i am going to set up the draft for 3ish EST on the 3rd. I should be close to back home by then and everyone so far seems to be okay with a weekend afternoon.
We have 7 without those who haven't logged in, 12 with them. What are everyone's thoughts on how to handle that? Should I remove eveyone who doesn't respond by Friday? I don't want to exclude people but i don't want there to be 5 inactive teams either.
